Rt. Hon. Comrade Chinedu Nweke Ogah is a quintessential example of a man who has turned personal determination, resilience, and compassion into a powerful instrument for community transformation.
Born on July 2, 1976, into the family of Chief and Mrs. Dennis Onele Ogah, JP, in Item Amagu Village, Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Hon. Ogah has risen from humble beginnings to become one of the most accomplished and people-oriented leaders in the South East region.
A devoted family man, he is happily married to his pillar of support, Mrs. Mary Chinedu Ogah, and they are blessed with children. He is a committed Christian whose life reflects the values of service, humility, and love for humanity.
His conferment with the national honour, Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), conferred by President Goodluck Jonathan in 2011, and his appointment as a Justice of the Peace (JP) are recognitions of his exceptional contributions to national development.
Young Chinedu began his educational journey at Community Primary School, Ohatekwe Amagu, Ikwo (1984–1990). He proceeded to Ikwo High School, Agubia (later CSS Ndufu Alike Ikwo), obtaining his SSCE/NECO in 1996/2001. Driven by ambition, he enrolled at the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, earning an OND and later an HND in Public Administration.
His passion for science led him to Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Abakaliki, where he obtained a BSc in Applied Microbiology and later a MSc in Medical Epidemiology.
